Hustler Words – Adobe has strategically moved to bolster its artificial intelligence-driven marketing capabilities with the acquisition of Rilo, an innovative market intelligence startup based in India. The deal, confirmed by Adobe to hustlerwords.com, encompasses both the licensing of Rilo’s cutting-edge technology and the integration of its specialized team. This marks Adobe’s second significant acquisition from the Indian tech landscape, following its 2023 purchase of video platform Rephrase.ai, underscoring the region’s growing importance in the global tech ecosystem. While the financial specifics of the transaction remain undisclosed, the move signals Adobe’s intensified focus on enhancing its enterprise marketing solutions.
Rilo’s core strength lies in automating complex marketing workflows, a critical area as businesses increasingly leverage AI to streamline operations. Its technology is designed to facilitate the creation, deployment, and meticulous tracking of marketing campaigns, extract actionable insights from client interactions, and amplify brand visibility across leading generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. This strategic addition is expected to significantly augment Adobe’s existing product suite, particularly catering to the sophisticated needs of its larger customer base by providing more intelligent and efficient marketing tools.

Founded by IIT batchmates Georgi Boby and Dhruv Jaglan, Rilo, established in 2025, quickly attracted investor attention, securing $1 million in funding from prominent firms including PeakXV, DeVC, and Day Zero Ventures at a $10 million valuation. Sources close to the deal indicate that Rilo’s investors will realize an exit from this acquisition. Post-integration, Adobe plans to incorporate key intellectual property from Rilo, alongside its six-member team, into its operations. Consequently, Rilo will cease independent operations, and its services will no longer be available to existing customers.
