Hustler Words – Apple has officially launched Apple Music Replay 2025, offering subscribers a comprehensive and personalized retrospective of their listening habits throughout the year. This annual feature, designed as a direct competitor to Spotify’s Wrapped, provides users with detailed insights into their favorite songs, artists, and albums.
This year’s Replay introduces several enhancements, including a "Discovery" section highlighting newly discovered artists, and a "Loyalty" section recognizing artists users consistently return to. The "Comebacks" section spotlights artists who have re-entered users’ listening rotations.

Beyond these additions, users can access a wealth of data, including total listening time, the number of unique artists streamed, longest artist streaks, and preferred genres. The Apple Music Replay dashboard is conveniently located within the Home tab of the streaming service.

In addition to the annual Replay, users can explore monthly Replay highlights and revisit yearly summaries from their entire Apple Music history. The "Replay All Time" playlist offers a curated selection of the songs played most frequently since joining the platform.
For artists, Apple Music is providing access to new metrics, such as listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries. They will also continue to see data on total listeners, geographic distribution (countries and cities), and total minutes streamed.
Apple also revealed the top songs of 2025 on Apple Music. ROSALÍA and Bruno Mars’ "APT." took the top spot, followed by Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s "luther" in second place. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars rounded out the top three with "Die With A Smile." Kendrick Lamar’s "Not Like Us" secured fourth place, and Billie Eilish’s "Birds of a Feather" landed in fifth.
The release of Apple Music’s Replay follows the launch of YouTube’s 2025 Recaps and Amazon Music’s yearly recaps. These early releases suggest a strategic move to capture social media sharing attention before Spotify unveils its own year-end feature.
